Can any of you Tyler specialists tell me what the difference is between a Classic and SE model? They look pretty the same to me, but I guess there must be a clear difference.
Thanks,

The cutaways on a SE are different then the standard strat-shape of a Classic. The horns are pointier and smaller on the SE. The body edges are also slightly different. SEs have the jack input on the side of the body, Classics have it like a Fender-strat on top of the body. The headstock is obviously different, smaller on the Classic.
My Classic and SE have the same specs with the exception of the bridge humbucker but they sound very different. Unsurprisingly, the Classic does have a more classic vibe. _________________

So I ordered a new Tyler: a classic which has the contents of a Classic Landau (Alder body, electronics, pickups) and the looks of a Dan Huff (gold, gold, ...) and a maple neck (which I just like better soundwise. Ordered today, will take a while and should look something like....
I can't wait to get this unique guitar. |
